Top pick: #7 (HOPE'S DREAM) (3-1) - Filly has been competitive facing tougher in three of her four starts and last out she raced extremely wide going 6 furlongs. Trainer Bill White will drop her to a new low, stretch her out in distance, and adds blinkers.
2nd pick: #5 (Gene's Blue Moon) (5-2) - Nice effort here at this tag on Jan. 21 saw her race close up early and stay on gamely to finish second going 6.5 furlongs. Race was her first in almost four months and first on real dirt. Trainer Kate O'Connell stretches her out to a mile and this Canadian-bred is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (I Kissed You) (6-1) - Price play raced evenly facing males when debuting in a Woodbine sprint on Dec. 8, then tired after a very wide trip here in a two-turn grass race on Jan. 17. She had an impossible post that day (11th of 11) and perennial "Dominion" award winning trainer Mark Casse will dro her way down in price and run her on conventional dirt for the first time.
4th pick: #9 (Foxie Afleet) (10-1) - Blinkers went on last out and it helped her show much better early speed as she just missed in a two-turn race at this tag on Jan. 30. Can factor at a square price.
5th pick: #10 (Snowfinch) (4-1) - Her lack of speed is apparent, but she did rally in her first pair to finish within range. In a good barn (Ian Wilkes)and he drops her to a new low in her second back off a three month layoff.
