She's working fast at Palm Beach Downs and draws a nice outside post as she stretches out to a one-turn mile. $250K purchase raced evenly in a sprint debut Nov. 28th. Pletcher wins at a 24% rate second time out and at a 25% clip on the stretch out. Javier Castellano's presence is noted.
2nd pick: #9 (Awesome Dame) (4-1) - NYRA invader is another that's stretching out to a mile. Filly has finished 2nd in all three sprints and is training nicely at Palm Meadows for her first since Oct. 25th.
3rd pick: #3 (Coldgreydawn) (5-1) - The second of the Pletcher fillies, she rallied to finish 2nd when debuting in a sprint at Gulfstream Park West Nov. 8th. Grey daughter of 'Flashy Bull' is training fast for this attempt, and she must be left in the win mix.
4th pick: #7 (Tale for Ruby) (6-1) - Unraced since August 2, home bred tired while wide, chasing a fast pace at Saratoga that day. Training above average at Palm Meadows for her return, and she can factor at a square price.
5th pick: #4 (Alotta Skirt) (4-1) - Filly sold for $200K this past March and enters off a rallying 2nd place finish Nov. 15th at Churchill Downs. Nice effort was her best to date, and it's noted that she's been bet in all three appearances. Stretch threat.
