Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (BEAUKATI) (3-1) - Colt showed a bit of speed before tiring in both starts on the NYRA circuit facing much tougher. Freshened up for exactly two months, trainer Barclay Tagg drops him into a claimer and adds Lasix. Canadian bred meets a weak field and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #5 (Peaky Blinders) (6-1) - Un-raced since his debut here July 19, he's working sharply on it for his return. Gelding has a new trainer (Ronnie Werner) and he drops this home bred down in class and adds Lasix. A threat if he runs to his morning drills.
3rd pick: #7 (Totally Evil) (9-2) - The field's most experienced maiden, he also has the best race showing of those that have started. Colt rallied to finish third here facing special weights Aug 22. He's tired on the grass going longer at this level in his last pair. In shape and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #8 (The Long Walk) (5-1) - Colt broke on top in his debut Oct 9 and stayed on to finish third after being involved in a pace-duel. On the sidelines since, he's dropping down a bit and can factor with normal second-out improvement.
