Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (INTERLAKEN) (7-2) - He ships from Kentucky where he finished second of 12, beaten 6.5 lengths going 8.5 furlongs Nov. 4 at Churchill Downs just above this $12,500 claiming price. The effort was complimented when the horse that defeated him came right back to win again next out. I give him a slight edge.
2nd pick: #3 (Brag Dude) (5-2) - The morning line favorite, speed/stalker has been competitive in all five starts since coming off a two month freshening in early October. In career best form, 3yo should be involved every step.
3rd pick: #1 (Outside Lookin In) (3-1) - The 4yo has problems at and in the gate in three of his last five starts. That said, he's been competitive facing tougher in the past and runs today with blinkers off.
4th pick: #2 (Curlin's Knight) (8-1) - The gelded son of 'Curlin' ships from Woodbine where he raced four times, two each on the grass and the all-weather surface that they have as a main track. He's dropping to a new low, has blinkers on, and is capable of getting a share in his first race on conventional dirt.
