Working fast at the Palm Meadows Center for his return, he's from the high energy barn of George Navarro, and I like this colt's chances.
2nd pick: #7 (Forever Mo) (2-1) - The morning line favorite, $140K son of 'Uncle Mo' is cutting back in distance after tiring going a mile Nov. 17. This stalker draws well at this seven-furlong trip and is an obvious contender.
3rd pick: #5 (Cold Warrior) (6-1) - He raced evenly when debuting in a 5.5-furlong sprint Nov. 10. He had a tough rail post in a large field (11) and his trainer (Scott Becker) wins at a solid 26% rate (nine of 35 second time out). Look for a competitive effort at a big price as he stretches out in distance.
4th pick: #4 (Golden Idol) (8-1) - Debuting colt has been in steady training at the Palm Meadows Center since early August. He enters off a near bullet half-mile there Nov. 25 and is capable of getting a share today if ready.
