It was her third back following a 10-month layoff, and trainer Joe Orseno has her conservatively spotted ($6,250 tag) in her first facing winners. The only negative is her outside post as she'll need to avoid a wide trip.
2nd pick: #3 (Probably Grace) (6-1) - This lightly raced 3yo runs today first off a re-claim by Larry Rivelli. She was an easy debut winner for him at Hawthorne Nov. 9 and just missed here for twice this tag Jan. 1. Rivelli lost her that day, but has gotten her back into his barn and for her original breeder. owner Carolyn Wilson. A win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Grey Manners) (3-1) - She's dropping in half while switching from grass to dirt for this attempt. Mare looked like the winner here in a grass sprint April 4, but tired late to miss by three lengths. She broke her maiden here on the dirt Aug. 9 and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #6 (Cherorama) (12-1) - A maiden winner here July 21, she did not run again until Dec. 19. 4yo tired badly in her return and has been on the sidelines another four months. Stalker has some nice works on view and may get a share at a big price.
