Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (BRANDY'S GIRL) (9-5) - This mare has been lightly campaigned over the years going 10-4-3-0 in grass sprints. Stalker finished 2nd here at this distance Sept. 17 in a $50K stakes, and that ran her local record to 8-3-3-0. Working fast recently, she gets a slight edge here.
2nd pick: #2 (Attyia) (4-1) - Very lightly raced filly has been on the sidelines since Feb. 25 when she missed by just under a length here in a $75K turf sprint. Working both steadily and above average, she has a new trainer (George Navarro), and he has John Velazquez aboard. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Touch of Bling) (6-1) - Mare is racing third back from a 10.5-month layoff. Sharp in her return at Keeneland Oct. 21, she regressed in her follow up at Churchill Nov. 22, but she had a very wide trip. It's noted that trainer Mike Maker has leading rider Luis Saez aboard.
4th pick: #5 (Sylphide) (7-2) - The probable main speed, filly has been freshened up for the last two months. She likes this particular trip (8-3-2-0) and has been working bullets at the Palm Meadows Training Center.
