Top pick: #10 (THIRTEEN ARROWS) (5-2) - The probable favorite, filly rallied while wide to finish second of nine, beaten a 1/2 length when debuting here going 6-furlongs on March 2nd. She was 5 1/2 clear of today's rival "Jenny's Rocket," has worked twice since, and the added furlong and post are both positives. The horse to beat.
nd pick: #11 (Jenny's Rocket) (7-2) - As mentioned above, she was 5 1/2 back of "Arrows" last out when checking in third. Working fast since, she has sharp early speed and a fine outside post to use it from. Dangerous in this spot.
rd pick: #9 (Circle the Empire) (8-1) - Daughter of "Empire Maker" is one of six making their debuts and has some fine drills showing at Palm Meadows. May grab a share if ready.
th pick: #4 (Indy's Million) (10-1) - Daughter of "A.P. Indy" cost $725K as a yearling but has shown much in a trio of starts. Freshened up for almost two months, she has blinkers added, goes turf to dirt, and shortens up in distance.
th pick: #6 (Tis Duet) (6-1) - Home-bred by "Tiznow" is bred for longer distances, but has some fine works showing on the deep main-track at Payson Park. Can impact if ready.
