2nd pick: #5 (Maura's Forever) (7-2) - Another that's cutting back in distance, filly by 'War Front' finished a pace setting second here going a mile for a $35K claiming price March 2. It was her first ever for a price tag and she's a win candidate in this spot.
3rd pick: #1 (Mercurial Miss) (8-1) - Mare ships from Tampa Bay Downs where she missed by a 'neck' sprinting against tougher Feb. 15. It was her first since Nov 3, she draws the rail, and think she can factor at a big price.
4th pick: #3 (Monterey Marianne) (3-1) - The morning line favorite, she missed by a 1/2 length here at this distance Jan 12. It was her first race in 9.5 months and 4-year-old is an obvious threat at a short price.
