Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (UNCLE CURLY) (2-1) - This New York invader drops for his local debut after missing by a 1/2 length going 8.5 furlongs at Aqueduct Nov. 11 for a $30K tag. Stretch runner has a pair of recent works at the Palm Meadows Center and I give him a slight edge.
2nd pick: #7 (Good Solution) (3-1) - Lightly raced 4yo was a visually impressive gate-to-wire maiden winner here by 5.5 lengths traveling a mile for a $20K tag Dec. 4. He's from a sharp barn (Dan Gargan), has room for upside, and is conservatively spotted in his first facing winners.
3rd pick: #6 (King of Leinster) (7-2) - Irish import broke his maiden by 7 lengths going a mile for a $20,000 claiming price Nov. 23. In his follow up at this level Dec. 15, he missed by just over a length and may have won that afternoon if not for a troubled break along with traffic during the stretch run. He's in the three horse mix.
