Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (CRAFTED) (4-1) - Very lightly-raced 4-year-old by 'Giant's Causeway' has been sharp in both starts since beginning his career late in his 3-year-old season. He missed by a 'nose' when debuting on the Aqueduct main-track going a 'flat' mile Nov 26. Brought to Florida after that by trainer Jim Bond, 'ridgling' trained sharply at Palm Meadows before heading back to New York in early January. He broker his maiden on Aqueduct's inner-surface Jan 15 and was immediately brought back to Palm Meadows. Two of his last three breezes there are on the quick side and he draws a nice inside post. Bred to like this longer distance and think he can make his first start against winners a successful one.
2nd pick: #4 (Securitz) (2-1) - The morning line favorite, he rallied to finish second here at this level and distance on a sloppy surface Jan 15. It was his first since early November. Well bred colt should be in this from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #3 (Cowboy Rhythm) (9-5) - Grey son of 'Tapit' hasn't raced since breaking his maiden at Keeneland Oct 18. Four-year-old is very lightly-raced and runs off a private trainer change to Todd Pletcher. Colt will need to be at his best, and even then he might not be as talented as the top two selections.
4th pick: #2 (Flash Trading) (8-1) - NEW gelding is moving back to the dirt in his 3rd back from a seven week freshening. Longshot was competitive in three-straight at this condition last fall in Kentucky and may grab a share at a square price.
