Top pick: #7 (MILL BASIN MAMA) (2-1) - Filly was probably best last out when she stumbled at the start and rallied while 3-wide to finish second, beaten a 1/2 length when racing here at this tag Jan. 31. Solid effort came off seven week freshening and she was claimed that day by Jamie Ness (40% first off the claim). The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Killin Them Softly) (3-1) - Speedy filly is working fast for her first start since tiring here facing much tougher on Dec. 30. She has the rail, takes a big drop in price and I almost made her the top pick.
3rd pick: #5 (Aggie H) (12-1) - She was eliminated at the start when debuting in the same race as "Mama" and has since come back with a solid gate work. Nice to see Prado back on the re-ride and this filly will be a square price.
4th pick: #6 (Locust Trace) (10-1) - Tampa invader has some speed and will get the addition of blinkers for her Gulfstream debut.
