2nd pick: #6 (Alter Rhythm) (9-2) - Debuting filly is from a trainer (Jay Servis) has had a career year. Racing on two fronts, he's won with 111-of-389 (29%) and is capable first out (20%). Filly was initially prepared at Monmouth and she need not be anything special to factor today.
3rd pick: #4 (Gretouki) (4-1) - Filly has been idle since racing evenly on a sloppy track at this tag and trip at Keeneland Oct. 28. Claimed that afternoon by Mike Tomlinson, she did not like the 'off' going that day after being sharper in her first pair on fast tracks. A solid half-mile work here Dec. 16 suggests that she can factor today.
