Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (SEIZE) (5-1) - Speedy 5yo is one of two entered by trainer Jay Servis and the pair race uncoupled. Away since June 23, he was an easy wire-to-wire that afternoon going 5.5 furlongs in a first-level allowance at Churchill Downs. Son of 'War Front' races for Servis for the first time and that's a strong 38% winning angle.
2nd pick: #8 (Fig Jelly) (3-1) - The second of the Jay Servis trained pair, he won a grass sprint at Belmont July 8 in his first for the barn, then ran second in a $100K sprint stakes Aug. 8 at Saratoga. Given a two month break, he tired Oct. 5 at Belmont on a wet course that I don't believe he cared for. Unraced since he draws well for his stalking style and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Simon Bar Sinister) (4-1) - Veteran grass sprinter is working fast here for his first since Oct. 26. Stretch runner has a ground-saving post, fits with his 'A' game, and is dangerous if ready.
