Speed/stalker had won 5-of-8 here prior to the break and this is her favorite distance. I'll give her a slight edge but remember to box your bets in this contest.
2nd pick: #7 (Old Fashioned Style) (8-5) - The morning line and probable favorite, this 3yo was stakes-placed at this distance at Aqueduct in Nov. of 2017. She's stretching back out after finishing second sprinting near this level Oct. 19 and enters off a 5-furlong bullet breeze at the Palm Meadows Center Nov. 13. She draws a fine outside post and I could have easily made her the top pick.
3rd pick: #1 (Flora Fantasy) (7-2) - Very consistent 4yo has been freshened up for just under two months. Stalker is stretching out in distance and that's a 50% winning move (8-of-16) for trainer Ed Loza Jr. over the past 23 months. She has a ground-saving post and must be left in the mix.
