Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (QUEEN LETIZIA) (9-2) - This filly is one of two entered by trainer Vic Barboza, Jr., and the pair race uncoupled. She had a very troubled trip when debuting here going a mile on the grass for a $25K tag Feb. 21. Barboza moves her to the dirt (29%), shortens her up (30%), drops her down, and he wins at an excellent 33% rate (15 of 46 off of long layoffs since Jan. 1 of 2019).
2nd pick: #6 (Toonie Loonie) (9-5) - The morning line and probable favorite, she's been competitive in three straight since dropping down to today's $12,500 claiming price. Speed/stalker had a maintenance work April 19 and is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Aznavour) (8-1) - Longshot is the other filly from the Barboza barn. She raced evenly here April 4 when finishing 3.5 lengths behind 'Toonie Lonie' and is capable of factoring here at a big price with a bit of improvement.
4th pick: #3 (Above Par) (10-1) - She had no chance when she 'hit the gate' sprinting on the grass for a $25K Tag March 18. She's worked three times since, switches back to the dirt, and drops to a new low.
