Top pick: #5 (LOVELY) (7-2) - She ships back from Tampa Bay where she finished a very wide third as the heavy favorite racing at this level and distance. It was her first off a two month break. Trainer Jimmy Jerkens adds blinkers and Castellano is back aboard after a two race absence.
2nd pick: #1 (Bonnie Breeze) (4-1) - She's finished second in six of her eight starts, all coming on the grass. All six of those placings have come in turf sprints. Her latest was on March 5 in her first race since late June. Stalker has the rail and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #9 (Cut In Stone) (6-1) - Daughter of 'Speightstown' is moving to the grass and shortening up in distance. Trainer Alan Goldberg has had a great meet (23-7-3-1) and this Santulli home bred should enjoy the turf.
4th pick: #3 (Jealous Cat) (6-1) - Debuting filly has has some sharp works showing at Palm Meadows, and daughter of 'Tapit' is from a capable small barn (Tevis McCauley). 4yo need not be anything special to factor against this field.
