2nd pick: #9 (Warranty) (3-1) - Debuting daughter of 'Artie Schiller' has been in steady training since mid-October. In the top barn of Chad Brown (20% first out), she cost $135,000 as a 2-year-old in training last April. Brown has J.J. Castellano aboard and the pair wins at a 31% rate (63 of 203)over the past 13-months.
3rd pick: #1 (Lupo's Way) (4-1) - She's the main speed and filly breaks from the rail. Competitive in all three starts, daughter of 'High Cotton' was only beaten a length here at this level Dec 13. Working fast since, she should be involved from start-to-finish.
4th pick: #7 (Beckett) (12-1) - Long shot raced close up while wide before tiring during the last 1/4 mile. It was a useful debut and she's since come back with a quick breeze on the Palm Meadows turf course. Can factor at a big price.
5th pick: #8 (My Good Venezuela) (5-1) - Filly rallied to check in 5th of 14, beaten just under two lengths when making her turf debut here Jan 2. Stretch runner would love a fast and/or contested pace to develop.
