It was her first start in 10 months and trainer Joe Orseno drops her down to run for a $12,500 tag. I like her chances.
2nd pick: #4 (Dixieland Humor) (7-2) - Blinkers go on state-bred who has finished second at this level in two of her last three attempts. One run type was favored in all of those and has been in four of her last six overall. An obvious contender.
3rd pick: #1 (Toonie Loonie) (20-1) - Longshot races third back following a 15.5 month layoff and is racing on the dirt for the first time. She's backed up badly in her return pair on the grass but she showed ability in 2018 before the long absence. She may get a minor award at a big price.
