Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #11 (PARTY CRASHER) (7-2) - Away slowly last out from his inside post he over-came that miscue to finish 2nd at this level and distance Jan 3. It was his 2nd back from a 6 1/2 month layoff and he draws a nice outside post at this one-turn mile.
2nd pick: #1 (I Believe I Can) (4-1) - Stalker is lightly raced and has been competitive in all four starts since blinkers went on in late October. He chased and held down the place spot here at this level going 7-furlongs on a sloppy track Jan 22. He's a win candidate in this spot.
3rd pick: #10 (Super Zapper) (6-1) - Consistent sort has finished 2nd in two of his last three at this level. Last out he raced both wide & evenly when finishing 4th going 7-furlongs. Claimed that day by Gil Zerpa he stretches this stalker back out to a mile.
4th pick: #3 (Stevarino) (5-1) - Colt raced evenly without threatening here at this distance facing tougher Feb 3. It was his first since Dec 9 and only his 2nd since late October. He fits on 'figures', is dropping to a new low, and it's nice to see him making back-to-back starts.
5th pick: #4 (Warrior's Instinct) (12-1) - 4yo broke his maiden here at this distance Dec 11. In his follow up start facing winners he tired badly against tougher going two-turns on a sloppy track Jan 22. Capable of getting a slice of this at long odds.
