Nicely spotted by Joe Orseno and he has the red hot Paco Lopez aboard.
2nd pick: #1 (New Year) (5-2) - He moves back to the grass after tiring following a poor beginning in an 'off the turf' contest at this level on a sloppy track Nov. 13. Gelding missed by a 'neck' at this tag going 8.5 furlongs on the turf Sept. 20 and his flexible style and ground saving post make him a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Burly Boy) (7-2) - Colt by 'Curlin' had a very wide trip when finishing just over 3 lengths behind 'New Year' at this level Sept. 20. One run type fits and a fast and/or contested pace would help his chances out.
