It was her first following a claim by Jorge Delgado March 1, and I like that she's back with a slight drop on a 16-day turnaround. I give her a slight edge.
2nd pick: #3 (Mystic Comin Home) (7-2) - Speedy sort pressed the pace before weakening late to check in 3rd, just under a length behind 'Markistan' here on April 2. Very sharp in three straight, she 'won' at this tag by almost three lengths Feb. 13, but was disqualified and placed 2nd. A strong factor today.
3rd pick: #2 (Dat Hot Match) (9-2) - Lightly raced 4yo moves back to the dirt following a wide trip from an outside post (10 of 11) sprinting five furlongs on the grass March 29. She has some early speed, a better post, and is capable of impacting with some improvement.
4th pick: #5 (Crystalina) (3-1) - She finished a pace-setting 2nd going a mile here for a $16K tag March 14. Expensive ($165,000) daughter of 'Candy Ride' was claimed away for $16,000 last out and is dropping down a bit while shortening up in distance. In the mix.
