3rd pick: #5 (Channel Maker) (8-1) - He's won over $2M on the grass but has been idle since Nov. 2 so he's giving away a recency advantage to both 'Zulu Aplha' and 'A Thread of Blue'. He hasn't hit he board in four local attempts but has finished within range in three of those. A threat if ready off the four-month layoff.
4th pick: #1 (Morocco) (20-1) - Longshot has the rail, some early speed, and he's from the same barn (Mike Maker) as 'Zulu Alpha'. His inside post should lead to a ground-saving journey and he's done well facing weaker on this course. He may get a slice at a big price.
