Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #11 (ONE OF A KIND) (9-2) - Stretch runner was beaten 1.5 lengths here at this level going 8.5 furlongs Jan. 28. It was his first off a claim, and he had some serious traffic issues late in the stretch run. I don't like his post, but if he can work out a trip, there's plenty of speed signed on to help his late charge be effective.
2nd pick: #1 (Street Code) (8-1) - Longshot is lightly raced and well bred. He tired badly here at this level and distance Jan. 20. However, he had to be sent hard from the 12-post, and for this attempt he breaks from the rail.
3rd pick: #6 (Deneb) (4-1) - Competitive in six straight, and all have been on the grass. He was beaten 1.5 lengths at this level Jan. 28 in his first facing winners. Capable today, and Javier Castellano stays aboard.
4th pick: #2 (Caught) (7-2) - He rallied mildly to finish a non-threatening 3rd here at this level and distance Jan. 20. It was his first start since May 28, and he should be much sharper for this attempt.
5th pick: #7 (Bracket Creep) (10-1) - Longshot has ability, but he gets very nervous in the paddock and in the gate. Working fast, and if gelding by 'City Zip' can settle a bit, he's dangerous at a big price.
