Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #11 (SECRETARY OF WAR) (5-1) - Colt has sharp early speed but can also stalk if someone else wants the lead. A stakes winner last April at Aqueduct, he's been competitive in 5 of 6 since then. Son of 'War Front' broke his maiden on his course March 25 and gets top billing in a deep field.
nd pick: #3 (Profiteer) (7-2) - Another son of 'War Front', he's been on the sidelines for the past two months. He tired after dueling through fast fractions at Santa Anita in a G 1 Oct. 28 and has been training at Payson Park for his return. He fits, draws well, and he should be involved from gate-to-wire.
rd pick: #10 (Dance Strike) (12-1) - Very lightly-raced, he's won two of three and lost by a 'neck' in his lone defeat. $410K son of 'Tapit' is facing stakes company for the first time, but has unlimited potential at this point.
th pick: #12 (Small Bear) (8-1) - Grey gelding has had a good year 9-3-3-2 and is about equal on both turf and dirt. He won a $150K stakes at this trip Nov. 24 at Aqueduct and strong finisher can factor if able to avoid a wide trip from his outside post.
th pick: #7 (Dalarna) (20-1) - Longshot raced both wide and evenly when 5 lengths behind 'Small Bear' Nov. 24 at Aqueduct. No-speed type won a $100K stakes at Belmont in his previous start (Oct. 22) and a fast/and or contested pace would aid his chances.
