Top pick: #1 (CHEROKEE QUEEN) - Mare ships back to her favorite turf course (8-2-4-0) after tiring at Tampa Bay to finish fourth in the G3 Hilsborough S. there on March 12th. Previous effort saw her an easy winner here in the G3 Suwanee River and this mare draws the inside post. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #5 (Bet On the Blue) - Filly hasn't run since late October at Monmouth and does so today off a trainer change to Allen Jerkens. Competitive type tries hard each time and is a factor if she brings her best off the 5 1/2 month layoff.
3rd pick: #2 (Dancin Perfect) - Mare is an uncoupled barn-mate of "Cherokee Queen" and will be making her first start since Dec. 18th at the Fair Grounds when trainer Marty Wolfson claimed her for $40,000. He improves just about every horse that comes his way and this 5-year-old will be a big price.
4th pick: #4 (Strike it Rich) - She has good early speed and has also stalked successfully in the past. Races for only the second time since late July and this $350,000 daughter of "Unbridled's Song" is a threat with her "A" game.
