2nd pick: #5 (Golden Award) (9-5) - The probable favorite, she's been idle since winning the G3 Turn Back the Alarm Stakes going 9 furlongs at Aqueduct Nov. 2. She has a fine overall record 11-5-3-0 and was a winner here last winter going a mile facing weaker. An obvious contender.
3rd pick: #1 (Queen Nekia) (10-1) - The second of the Saffie Joseph trained pair, she won here at this distance facing weaker Jan .16. It was her first off a claim and ran her local record to 4-2-2-0. One-run type has a ground-saving post and it's noted that John Velazquez is aboard for the first time.
4th pick: #4 (Restless Rider) (3-1) - A G1 winner back in the Fall of 2018. She runs off her second straight long layoff. Working steadily, she likes this distance 4-1-3-0 but gives away a recency edge to the top three selections.
