Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (ELLOREE GAL) (4-1) - Lightly-raced filly finished second here at this tag and trip Feb. 18. By far a career best, trainer Bob Dibona has her headed in the right direction. It's noted that Jose Ortiz is aboard for the first time.
nd pick: #7 (Can'tcatchtheraxx) (5-1) - She chased and tired facing tougher Feb. 16 in her first following a Phil Serpe claim. He drops her back to the claimed price ($20,000) and she had missed by a length the day she changed barns (Jan. 6).
rd pick: #3 (Synchronizing) (20-1) - Longshot is one of two fillies entered by trainer Jane Cibelli and they race uncoupled. This daughter of 'Ghostzapper' is shortening up in distance after having legitimate excuses in her last two going longer. A swift half-mile breeze on the Palm Meadows turf Feb. 26 is encouraging.
th pick: #10 (Wildcat Cave) (8-1) - Away since Oct. 8 she tired that day in a dirt sprint when making her debut. She's working above average, switches from dirt to turf, and has blinkers on.
th pick: #1 (Dixie Grits) (10-1) - Much improved in her last pair, she's finished fourth in both each at this tag and trip. Filly has the rail, a flexible running style, and has blinkers on.
