He broke his maiden here going a mile for a $50K tag Dec. 22 and is very conservatively spotted this afternoon. He'll be tough in this spot.
2nd pick: #6 (Wannabeaplayer) (7-2) - Sharp in four straight, he missed by just under two lengths here at this level Feb. 11. Stalker draws a much better post for this attempt, and he's a threat with his normal effort.
3rd pick: #2 (Waldi) (10-1) - Lightly raced grey colt has good early speed and breaks just off the rail. He tired last out facing tougher in his first against winners and is better spotted today. His ability to get to the front makes him dangerous at a square price.
4th pick: #5 (Cosmic Thunder) (12-1) - Very lightly raced 6yo has made middle moves in his last pair and may grab a share at a big price if the pace is fast and/or contested.
