Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #9 (SILVERADO MIST) (7-2) - Filly is taking a big drop in class for this attempt. New York bred finished 4th at Aqueduct facing tougher in a grass sprint Dec. 2 and did so following a stumbling start. Jose Ortiz is back on the re-ride, and this 3yo gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #1 (Lady Blessings) (3-1) - Freshened up since Nov. 10, she's racing off a private trainer change to Brendan Walsh (26% with new arrivals). She raced poorly last out on the dirt, but had been much sharper in her previous pair on the grass. This win candidate has the rail and leading rider Saez aboard.
3rd pick: #3 (Nothins Free) (9-2) - She finished 2nd here at this tag and trip Dec. 16 in her first on the grass and second back following a there month layoff. Must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #10 (Tequila N Tacos) (15-1) - Longshot raced evenly last out while five lengths in back of 'Nothins Free.' She has a bit of speed, and the outside post here in turf sprints isn't a real minus if she breaks running.
