Top pick: #6 (CAMRYN'S GEM) (3-1) - One of two fillies entered by trainer Bill Mott, she comes off a career best when finishing second here at this level and distance Jan. 18th. Daughter of "Unbridled's Song" had some early traffic issues, made a strong wide bid to reach the front, then was out-finished late, but held down the place spot. The horse to beat.
nd pick: #3 (Purrfect Ride) (12-1) - The second of the Mott fillies, debuting filly by "Candy Ride" has some impressive works on view, and "Live Oak" home-bred is a threat if she runs to her works.
rd pick: #2 (Ready Player One) (8-1) - She exits the same last race as "Gem," and rallied to finish a non-threatening third. It marked a career best and came off a 2 1/2 month layoff. Encouraging effort, and she's on the improve.
th pick: #11 (Gambler's Rose) (10-1) - Owned by the legendary Calumet Farm, she has early speed, has gone 4-0-2-2 racing on the dirt, and will be trying the grass for the first time. Working fast, and daughter of "Pulpit" is bred to like the turf.
th pick: #4 (Blush Again) (20-1) - Longshot improved noticeably in her first on the grass, and will race with blinkers on this afternoon. May impact at a very big price.
