2nd pick: #8 (Gary D) - Much improved son of "Successful Appeal" broke his maiden at Tampa on Jan. 9 and then won a stakes at Ocala in his first vs winners. In a good barn (Jose Pinchin) and colt has a big drill at Calder on March 13. Nice price play.
3rd pick: #6 (Dixie Band) - Gelding showed a lot of talent last year when racing on "poly-tracks" and is working rapidly on this surface for his first on conventional dirt and first on any kind since Oct. 10. Sharp barn (Wayne Catalano) looks like they have him ready.
