Top pick: #8 (RICHIESREDHOTHONEY) (7-2) - Un-raced since May 2nd, $125K filly by "Malibu Moon" is working nicely for her return. The high-percentage barn of Wesley Ward drops her into a claimer and has her racing on the grass, both for the first time. Ward wins at a 27% rate off of long layoffs and at a 28% clip on this drop in class.
nd pick: #2 (Ansiedad) (4-1) - Filly has gone 5-0-2-2 at this level on the grass since mid-December. Last out she rated, bid to a clear lead, but leveled off late to check in third. A strong factor in this spot.
rd pick: #7 (Lemonsrgoodongrass) (5-1) - Speed/stalker has regressed in her last three starts after being competitive in several outings prior to that. Fits with her best, but needs to turn it around this afternoon.
th pick: #5 (Cat Lucky) (20-1) - Longshot has some early speed and is dropping down and stretching out. Daughter of "Mizzen Mast" tired sprinting at Tampa on March 8th in her first since Dec. 23. Can grab a share at a very big price.
th pick: #10 (Honeyed) (9-2) - Lightly-raced and well bred, filly hasn't raced since an even effort at this tag when debuting in late August at Ellis Park. She has a new trainer (Mike Matz) but the veteran has had a very tough meet (2 for 57). Could factor if ready.
