Top pick: #3 (TEN AND FOUR) (3-1) - Colt comes off a career best when he finished fourth here at this tag and trip Feb. 20. Only beaten two lenghts, he seemed a bit intimidated when down on the inside in tight quarters in mid-stretch or he may have won.
2nd pick: #1 (Dark and Dusty) (12-1) - Longshot is clearly best on the grass and a good barn (Jay Servis) drops him down to a new low. Colt has the rail and it's nice to see Cabe Saez stay aboard. Price play.
3rd pick: #7 (Headwing) (4-1) - Lightly-raced colt has a bit of speed and tired late on Feb. 5 after racing within range until entering the stretch. Fits, and he gets some weight off with apprentice Sullivan taking over.
4th pick: #8 (Skarabajo) (6-1) - Improving of late, he ran a career best on Feb. 28 when running fourth here and son of "Concerto" had some traffic issues on the far turn. Must be left in the mix.
