Nice effort but she lost all chance in her follow race at this distance Jan. 20 when she stumbled badly at the start. She's worked twice since and gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #3 (Sunday Gravy) (5-1) - Price play checked in a non-threatening fourth when facing just a bit tougher Feb 12. Away slowly that day, it was her first race since Sept. 25. Barn drops her to a new low and has Javier Castellano back aboard following a two race absence.
3rd pick: #2 (Heading Home) (15-1) - Longshot is working nicely for her first since July 31. Jersey bred may grab a share at a big price if she runs to her a.m. drills.
4th pick: #1 (Quench) (12-1) - Outrun here in a two turn grass race Feb. 1, she switches to the dirt, shortens up in distance, drops in class, and has both blinkers and lasix added. Filly cost $200K and may be competitive at long odds.
