2nd pick: #7 (Kiss the Ring) - Daughter of "Touch Gold" has made two starts, one in England and the other at Laurel, 15 months apart. She obviously has her problems, but has a nice turf work on the Jan. 19. Price use.
3rd pick: #8 (Watch Smartly) - Daughter of "Smart Strike" rallied late last out on this surface to finish second. The trouble is that the start was 11 months ago. Drills for her return are adequate.
4th pick: #4 (Tenacious) - Filly cost $400,000 and has earned $4K, tough game. Her lone turf start, which came in her debut, was good enough to make her a win threat here if she could repeat it.
5th pick: #3 (Valid Humor) - Returns from a three-month break and she's shown good speed in the majority of her starts. Front-end threat.
