Top pick: #7 (FORTUNATE BILL) - Colt runs first off a Nick Canani claim (a 28% winning angle) and he moves this runner way up in price thia afternoon. He's improved noticeably since switching to the infield and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Captain Fantastic) - Son of "Afleet Alex" finished second at Churchill on Nov. 26 and last out raced evenly here. Both of those came facing special weights and today trainer Nick Zito will drop him into a claimer for the first time. Has the inside post and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #9 (Yes He's Trouble) - He's improving and finished 2nd here at this price and distance on Dec. 30. "Captain" handled him easily at Churchill, but this son of "Yes It's True" is a better horse now.
4th pick: #3 (Silver Wings) - He had a terrible post here (12th of 12) racing at this price on Dec. 30 and made up some late ground. Working nicely, gets blinkers on, and draws much better in this spot. Price play.
