Top pick: #7 (MOVE THE CHAINS) (8-5) - The probable favorite, he's finished second in both starts. He rallied for the place spot when debuting in a Churchill Downs dirt sprint facing special weights on May 16. Away until Jan. 18th, he again closed to finish second racing here at this distance for a $75K tag. The horse to beat if doesn't scratch.
nd pick: #10 (Rockmeagain) (6-1) - Gelding has improved noticeably since coming off a three month layoff in December and switching to the turf. Home bred has a flexible style and is dangerous with his best.
rd pick: #6 (Wildcat Runner) (4-1) - He has absolutely no early speed, but has closed good ground in three of his last four starts. The faster the pace, the better his chances.
th pick: #2 (Winstanley) (8-1) - Irish import stretches out in distance after a troubled trip sprinting here on Jan. 25th. It was his first since Oct. 11th and first in this country. He must be left in the mix.
th pick: #4 (Roy Aire) (20-1) - Longshot has a bit of talent and in late October he was only a bit more than a length off of 'Wildcat Runner.' May grab a share at a big price.
