Top pick: #11 (VIOLINIST) (7-2) - Daughter of "Unbridled's Song" rushed up following a troubled break when debuting at Aqueduct on Nov. 9. Race was against tougher Special Weights and she tired during the stretch run. Trainer Todd Pletcher (29% 2nd time out) drops her in class (30%) and his long time go-to rider John Velazquez is aboard.
nd pick: #3 (Just too Perfect) (8-1) - She's shown some speed in three starts facing tougher but tired down the stretch in each. Freshened up since Sept. 9, trainer Tom Albertrani drops her in class and adds both Lasix and blinkers. If she has any ability it will be against this field.
rd pick: #8 (Polly My Love) (12-1) - Filly earned a career best figure last out when she finished an even third here at this level and distance Nov. 27. It was her first ever on the grass and she has a shot at a square price.
th pick: #4 (Undercover Kitten) (10-1) - Owner/trainer Matt Peebles brings her back in 11-days and moves her up a bit in class this afternoon. Daughter of top grass sire "Kitten's Joy" was competitive in her debut and did so from a tough outside post. Contends in this spot.
th pick: #9 (Sister Diane) (6-1) - No-speed type drops back down after a non-competitive effort facing tougher on Nov. 16. Two weeks before that she rallied to finish second racing at this tag. The faster the pace, the better her chances.
