Top pick: #3 (OPTISMISTIC VIEW) - Bet down to favoritism last out this daughter of "Broken Vow" stumbled badly at the start and tired after rushing up into the pace. She drops in half for this and has a nice drill on Feb. 12. Looks like graduation day.
2nd pick: #12 (Intercom) - Daughter of "Lido Palace" was "off slowly" in her debut sprinting here on Jan. 20, but did well to finish sixth of 12. She stretches-out in distance and draws a nice outside slot. Barn (Bill White) wins at a 23% clip second time out. Has a shot at the upset.
3rd pick: #8 (Robin's Commander) - She's already making her third start of this meet and she's made ground up both times. Moves off the inside and that's a big plus in her favor. Can contend today.
4th pick: #9 (Who's My Daddy) - Jockey/trainer team of apprentice Pedroza and veteran Wesley Ward won here with a debuting runner on Sunday giving the rider his first win ever ( he's now one for four). Filly is working sharply and Ward is one of the best first-time-out. Can contend with a clean break.
