Top pick: #4 (GANGSTER OF LOVE) - Much improved 3-year-old has finished third and second in his last pair both at this level and he's been displaying better early speed since coming back from a layoff. Barn has given him a month off since a strong performance here Feb. 17 and a repeat of that effort can win this.
2nd pick: #3 (Ducane) - Well-bred five-year-old is working fast for this first start since Sept 8 at Del Mar. Has ability and trainer Jerry Fanning will shorten him up in distance and switch him from the grass to a synthetic surface. His works indicate he's ready to roll and the presence of Russell Baze says that they like his chances.
3rd pick: #7 (Antidote) - Lightly-raced colt by "Tiznow" finished an even third last out sprinting here and he'll stretch out in distance and be making back to back starts for the first time. Four-year-old cost $290K but has so far been a big disappointment. Working fast for this and think he'll show whatever talent he has in this spot.
