Top pick: #7 (ZAZAMORA) - Daughter of the recently deceased "Salt Lake" finished an even third when debuting at the Pleasanton Fair racing on the dirt July 10. She took some money at the windows that day and had a very wide trip. Races today off a six month break and is training steadily for a good barn for her return. Can win this if ready.
2nd pick: #3 (Final Wonder) - Filly had no chance last out after she broke slowly and raced wide before checking in 7th of a dozen. Working nicely for this trainer Bill Morey will put her blinkers back on after a one race absence. She has good early speed and can contend today with a clean break.
3rd pick: #5 (Miss Smoke Signals) - Lightly-raced filly runs for the first time since Nov. 6 and has four published works in the past month. She showed some early speed facing tougher last fall and could contend today at a nice price if ready off the short rest.
