Top pick: #1 (DON'S LEGEND) (3-1) - He raced evenly and wide following a "sluggish" start here on April 18th. He moves to the rail and the last time he broke from the inside he finished second at Penn national. Can take today's finale with an alert getaway.
2nd pick: #4 (Clearly Perfection) (5-2) - Lightly raced, he broke his maiden on Aqueduct's inner-surface on March 27th, then chased and tired to run third here for twice this tag in his local debut April 18th. The probable favorite and a strong win candidate at a short price.
3rd pick: #5 (Caleb's a Survivor) (5-1) - Un-raced since early Sept., gelding broke his maiden here last June and earned a high "figure" doing so. Four-year-old had a sharp half-mile breeze just four days ago that suggests his readiness off the 7 1/2 month layoff.
4th pick: #2 (Katmai Unleashed) (6-1) - Gelding was an impressive gate-to-wire maiden winner here on April 19th. By far a career best, but I'm not sure the figure earned is repeatable by this 6-year-old. Still, his speed must be respected.
