Filly was an easy winner here at this tag and trip July 9 and has worked four times since for a sharp barn (Anthony Ferraro). Three-year-old gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #2 (Zeekid) (5-2) - Filly has been competitive in two of three starts since coming from Santa Anita late in the spring. She's shortening up in distance and dropping down to this $5,000 claiming price for the first time. An obvious win candidate at a short price.
3rd pick: #6 (Rose of Sicily) (6-1) - Stalker had some serious traffic issues last out and she raced evenly after that incident. Four-year-old had been competitive in six of seven prior to that with all of those coming in local sprints at this level. Looks next best after the top two selections.
4th pick: #1 (Catskill Flyer) (5-1) - Even-paced filly has picked up seven minor awards this year in eleven starts. Four-year-old was four lengths in back of 'Rose of Sicily' two back, so unless she improves a small slice would appear to be her ceiling.
