Top pick: #3 (SAILOR'S BROTHER) (3-1) - Speedy sort was competitive in a pair on the Del Mar "poly," but his best ever came when he finished second when debuting at Pleasanton in early July on conventional dirt. Tommy Town home-bred can take this with an alert start.
2nd pick: #2 (Warren's Backntown) (5-2) - Warren home-bred raced evenly in his first pair at Del Mar and will be running on conventional dirt for the first time. Gelding has a fine work on Sept. 1 and his trainer (Craig Lewis) usually does well at this short meet.
3rd pick: #4 (Western Showdown) (4-1) - He finished second in his debut then proceeded to run evenly in his next three starts. On the sidelines since July 12th, he's working fine and has probably will be sharp in this comebacker.
