Top pick: #6 (THISSKYHASNOLIMITE) - He's a solid racehorse and one that has made almost $800K by running all over the country in his career. By my count he's run at 12 different track and was a wire-to-wire winner here in a $100K stakes on Jan. 21. Race was his first since early July and trainer Steve Asmussen has pout three fine works into him. Gets a slight edge in a tough race.
2nd pick: #4 (Cool Blue Red Hot) - Very lightly raced 4-year-old finished a close-up third last out to the talented Jackson Bend going a flat mile at Gulfstream on Jan. 14 in the Hal's Hope Stakes (G3). Strong finisher was running off a three month layoff that afternoon and has been working fast since. Win candidate at a nice price.
3rd pick: #2 (Alma d'Oro) - He tries hard every time and last out finished third to our top pick here, but was beaten less than 2 lengths. Race was his first in two months and trainer Todd Pletcher has worked him three times at Palm Meadows for this assignment.
