Top pick: #2 (MARK VALESKI) (2-1) - This looks like a rematch of Jan. 19's $100K "Louisiana Hdcp." when "Mark" lost by just under a length to today's rival "Infrattini." Solid effort was his first race in eight months and this colt has come back with a pair of very sharp works. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #7 (Infrattini) (5-2) - As mentioned above he defeated "Mark" on Jan. 19 and that was his fourth in a row. Ordinary sort earlier in his career, he's been transformed into a much better horse since trainer Paul McGhee added blinkers. Win candudate.
3rd pick: #4 (Cool Street) (6-1) - Well-bred colt has won all four starts at this meet facing weaker and will get a "class" test this afternoon. Son of "Street Cry" is a strong finisher and would love a fast/and or contested pace to develop.
4th pick: #5 (Golden Ticket) (7-2) - He dead-heated in the $1,000,000 "Travers Stakes(G1)" last August at saratoga and defeated weaker at Gulfstream on Jan. 26 in his first start in two months. Working fast for this and must be left in the mix.
