Top pick: #4 (HEAVENVILLE) - The field's most experienced runner is also a very consistent one. He has an excellent record facing Louisiana-breds (8-1-4-2) and enters this off a second-place finish on the turf to today's rival No. 2 "Tensas Cat". Moves back to the dirt and he's the horse to beat in a very good betting contest.
2nd pick: #3 (Redsugar) - Freshened-up since winning a $125K race at Delta Downs on Feb. 6 he brings speed/stalking ability to the contest and if he brings his Delta form with him he'll be tough.
3rd pick: #10 (Tupelo Playboy ) - Lightly raced and talented he had no chance last out from the 13 post going two-turns on the turf here. Stalker should be a nice price and has a lot of pace to track.
4th pick: #9 (Productive Envoy) - Take away his three starts vs. "open" company and his record facing state-breds is solid. One-run type retains Albarado, always a plus in stakes at this track.
