Top pick: #7 (LOOK AT THE TIME) - Undefeated gelding is 3-for-3, two coming on the local dirt and the latest coming on the grass. Stalker has a perfect style and trainer Wes Hawley has worken him three times since March 11th. Looks set for another big effort.
2nd pick: #9 (Hud's Bebellion) - He's 2-for-4 locally but has finished in back of "Time" the two times they've met. Colt has an excellent work on March 25th and it's nice to John Velazquez (who's in for the day) pick up the mount.
3rd pick: #6 (Benwill) - Improving son of "Leestown" rallied to finish second last out to "Time" in a mile grass stakes and this colt just missed facing much tougher "open" foes earlier in the meet. Stretch threat with Albarado.
4th pick: #1 (Event Center) - Recent maiden winner did so in style and earned a very "lofty" speed figure in that 5.5 furlong sprint. Win came off a four month break and was his first ever aganist fellow Louisiana-breds. Has the rail and can factor at a nice price.
