2nd pick: #2 (Luster) - Beautifully-bred filly hasn't been scene since her debut at Saratoga when she finished a fine third in a race that has produced several nice runners. Bred to go long, but she's been training steadily, and trainer Al Stall is good off the layoff.
3rd pick: #8 (Mayhaw) - Daughter of "Lion Heart" makes her third start today. Strong debut saw her finish third in a good field, but she did not run well at all last out. Possible that a bounce was a factor, as she's worked well twice since her second outing.
